It’s hard to believe there was a time Andi Jackson wasn’t all in on volleyball. She was set on playing basketball in college—until she walked into a club tryout as a 5-foot-10 freshman and touched 9 feet, 8 inches. Yeah… that changed everything. Now? She’s a force. A dominant middle blocker for one of the best programs in the country—Nebraska. In 2024, Andi helped lead the Huskers to the national semifinals, earning first-team All-American honors. She was a unanimous All-Big Ten first teamer, racking up 2.62 kills per set and 134 total blocks. And let’s talk about that semifinal match against Penn State—Andi had a career-high 19 kills, a .630 hitting percentage, and five blocks.
From Brighton High School to the national stage, Andi Jackson continues to prove why she’s one of the best. And tonight, we’re proud to name her our Sportswomen of Colorado’s College Volleyball Player of the Year!
