Madison Mintenko’s 2024 season has been nothing short of phenomenal. As our high school swimmer of the year, she made her mark at the Olympic Trials and emerged as the nation’s top 200m Freestyle swimmer with a time of 1:43.07. In the 500m Freestyle, she secured the #2 spot, proving her strength in both sprint and distance events. Madison achieved something few have in Colorado high school history, completing her state career undefeated, joining the ranks of Anna Trinidad and Missy Franklin. She even broke Franklin’s state record in the 500 free, and her 200 free performances set a new Class 4A record.
She is the No. 1 recruit in the nation and headed to the University of Virginia. With her eyes set on the 2028 Olympic games in Los Angeles, we all know our Swimmer of the Year is destined to make a splash. Madi Mintenko.
